Producers like Wyck Godfrey (Wyckyg with 28% rotten tomato meter ratings) pocketing billions as art dies.

This story reports:

But a Hanks, Cruise or Carrey whose movie brings $600 million back to the studio from all sources might easily wind up with a $20 million salary, and an additional $50 million on the back end, while an A-list director and producer could take in tens of millions more.

A relatively small part of that goes to the guilds in the form of residuals, the contractual payments that writers get when their work reappears in various media - and which the writers are insisting be increased for media of
the future.

Awesome. Cliffyb & wyckyg hate art. Jsut look at the 28% rotten tomato rating movies wyck has pumped out of the hollywood hype factory, as if they were widgets. They hate art with soul and spirit. That is why they never talk about books. And literature. And poetry. They hate true writers. It's all about money money money mony money more money for Wall Street's New Line. Again, I would like to challenge them to a televised debate, and read them all their hypester soundbites to their faces, and make them eat every word.

Cliffyb will soon start quoting Shakespeare and Homer--just you wait. He won't actually read them--just quote them to soe up the Microsoft/New Line investment.
